Great Lakes Naval Base

The Military Ministry has partnered with Navy Chaplains at Great Lakes Recruit Training Command and Training School Command to provide ministry support for the Command Religious Program. The Great Lakes team includes John and Karen McIntosh, Nick and Senja Bair, and an outstanding team of volunteers. Together our Great Lakes Gateway team and Naval chaplains help meet the spiritual needs of sailors and their families. Great Lakes is the launch site for a Chapel sponsored program called Sailors for Christ. SFC is a resource tool that helps provide a ministry context for sailors to meet together, explore christianity, grow in their faith.

RTC- We offer classes each Sunday at Chapel for the new recruits. As of right now, we offer 4 classes at 9:30 and 10:45.

NTSC- We encourage all sailors at NTSC to check out the Blue Jacket Chapel on Sundays. Adult Bible Studies are from 0900-1015, and the Protestant Chapel service is from 1030-1200. ConneXion groups are held at the Blue Jacket Chapel at 1900 on Friday.

At NTSC, we love hanging out with sailors through ConneXion groups.  The purpose of ConneXions is to connect sailors with God, with each other, and with their world.  Participating in these groups, you will be offered an open forum to discuss spiritual and life questions; you will have the opportunity to meet new people and share in fellowship with other believers; and you will be able to meet many of our leaders who's desire it is to see you know Jesus, grow in your relationship with Him, and be spiritual fit.

Throughout the year, we host many chapel sponsored events including, BBQ's, sports outings, guest speakers, and dinners off base.  If you are currently stationed or are going to be stationed at NTSC, look us up and come hang out.  We would love to get to know you!
